ARLINGTON, Va. — POLITICO now announced the 2023 class of the POLITICO Journalism Institute (PJI), an intense teaching plan designed to advance newsroom range.
The 10-day program for undergraduate and graduate college students delivers palms-on education for students fascinated in sharpening their skills at the most significant politics- and coverage-focused newsroom in the nation. POLITICO is happy to share the college students that emerged from an exceptional and aggressive applicant pool impressing the choices committee with their sturdy journalism competencies, entrepreneurial spirit and unique contributions to newsroom range.
“We’re extremely energized to welcome this most recent cohort to the PJI software,” said Joe Schatz, government editor, platforms and functions, at POLITICO. “We have been executing this method for a 10 years and each 12 months it will get better and superior. This is shaping up to be our strongest course however.”
Programming for PJI features interactive workshops, periods with market leaders and mentor pairings. It also takes individuals driving the scenes in the historic destinations in which information is designed, including the White Household, Congress, and the Nationwide Push Club.
